TRUSTYY REVIEWS APP

Step 1: Enable the Review Form

The Review Form allows your customers to share their experiences directly on your product pages.

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin → AppsTrustyy Product Reviews.

  2. In the setup dashboard, click “Enable Review Form.”

  3. You’ll be redirected to your Shopify Theme Editor.

  4. In the theme editor, open your Product Page template.

  5. Click “Add block” or “Add app block” and select Trustyy – Review Form.

  6. Position it where you’d like it to appear (we recommend placing it below the product description).

  7. Click Save.

✅ Once added, customers will be able to submit their reviews directly on the product page.

Step 2: Enable Star Rating

The Star Rating widget visually displays the average rating for each product, helping new customers make confident purchase decisions.

  1. Return to your Trustyy setup dashboard in Shopify.

  2. Click “Enable Star Rating.”

  3. This will open the Theme Editor again.

  4. Open your Product Page and click “Add block” or “Add app block.”

  5. Select Trustyy – Star Rating and place it near your product title or price area.

  6. Click Save to confirm the changes.

✅ Your product pages will now show both the review form and average star ratings.

Final Check

Once both widgets are enabled:

  • Visit any product page on your store.

  • Ensure the Star Rating is visible and the Review Form is active.

  • Test submitting a sample review to verify everything works properly.

How to Publish Customer Reviews

Once your customers start submitting reviews, you can manage, approve, and publish them directly from your Trustyy Product Reviews dashboard.

Step 1: Go to the Reviews Section

  1. Open your Shopify Admin and go to Apps → Trustyy Product Reviews.

  2. In the left navigation menu, click on Reviews.

  3. You’ll see three tabs:

    • All Reviews – shows all submitted reviews.

    • Published – displays reviews that are live on your storefront.

    • Unpublished – contains pending reviews awaiting approval.

Step 2: Review and Select the Feedback

  1. Under the All Reviews tab, browse the list of customer reviews.

  2. Each review displays details such as:

    • Title

    • Description

    • Customer Name

    • Product Name

    • Rating

  3. To select a review, click the checkbox next to it.

    • You can select a single review or multiple reviews for bulk action.

Step 3: Publish the Review

  1. After selecting one or more reviews, click the “Publish” button at the top right.

  2. The status will change to Published, and the review will appear on your storefront’s product page.

Tip: Use bulk selection to quickly publish several positive reviews at once.

Step 4: Manage Existing Reviews

  • To unpublish a review, select it and click Unpublish.

  • To remove a review completely, click Delete.

  • You can also use the Details button beside each review to see full content before taking action.

Final Note

Publishing only verified and authentic reviews helps maintain trust and transparency with your customers.
Regularly check your
Unpublished tab to ensure timely approval of genuine feedback.


Step 5: Reply to a Customer Review

You can directly reply to customer reviews to engage with your shoppers, thank them for feedback, or address any concerns.

How to Reply:

  1. Go to the Reviews section in your Trustyy Product Reviews app.

  2. Find the review you want to respond to (either in Published or All Reviews tab).

  3. Click the “Details” button next to the review.

  4. A detailed view of the review will open, showing the customer’s name, rating, comment, and product name.

  5. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a Reply Box — type your response here.

  6. Once you’re satisfied with your reply, click “Publish Reply” to make it visible under the customer’s review on your storefront.

Best Practices for Replies

  • Acknowledge Positive Reviews: Thank the customer for their feedback and appreciation.

  • Address Concerns Promptly: For less positive feedback, respond professionally and offer to resolve the issue.

  • Maintain Brand Voice: Keep responses polite, warm, and aligned with your brand tone.


Trustyy Product Reviews – Review Request Feature

The Review Request feature helps you automatically ask your customers for reviews via email after they make a purchase, increasing the likelihood of collecting authentic feedback.

Step 1: Access Review Request

  1. Open Shopify Admin → Apps → Trustyy Product Reviews.

  2. Click Review Request in the app’s left navigation menu.

You will see three main tabs:

  • Request History – Track all sent review requests.

  • Request Settings – Configure how review requests are sent.

  • Manual Request – Send a review request to a specific customer manually.

Step 2: Request History

The Request History tab shows all past review request emails sent to customers.

Features:

  • See which customers received review requests.

  • Check the status of each request (Sent, Opened, Clicked, etc.).

  • Use this tab to monitor performance and follow up if necessary.

Step 3: Request Settings

The Request Settings tab allows you to automate and customize your review request emails.

Enable Review Request Sequence

  1. Toggle the Enable Review Request button to activate the feature.

  2. Once enabled, you can create one or more email sequences.

Create Email Sequence

  1. Click Add Sequence to create a new email series.

  2. Set Interval Days: Choose how many days after an order is fulfilled each email should be sent.

  3. Select Product Image Size: Choose small, medium, or large images to display in your email.

  4. Set Email Subject & Content: Write a compelling subject line and email body to encourage reviews.

  5. Test Email: Send a test email to your store email address to preview the content and design.

Tip:

  • Use 2–3 emails in a sequence spaced 3–5 days apart for best results.

  • Include personalized content and product images to increase engagement.


Trustyy Product Reviews – Manual Review Request

The Manual Review Request feature allows you to send targeted review requests to specific customers for specific products at your preferred time, giving you full control over who receives your emails.

Step 1: Access Manual Review Request

  1. Open Shopify Admin → Apps → Trustyy Product Reviews.

  2. Click Review Request → Manual Request.

You will see the Manual Review Request interface with sections for:

  • Select Recipients

  • Review Summary

Step 2: Select Recipients

  1. Click Select Customers to choose customers for this manual review request.

  2. Choose the products associated with these customers for which you want to request reviews.

  3. Confirm your selection.

Tip: You can select multiple customers and products at once for efficiency.

Step 3: Review Summary

After selecting recipients and products, the Review Summary section shows:

  • Trigger Time: The scheduled time when the review request email will be sent.

  • Total Recipients: Number of customers selected to receive the email.

  • Selected Products: Products for which the review request is being sent.

Make sure all details are correct before sending.

Step 4: Send Manual Review Request

  1. Review the Review Summary carefully.

  2. Click Send Review Request to send the email immediately.

Result: The selected customers will receive a review request email for the selected products at the specified time.

Best Practices

  • Only select relevant customers and products to maximize response rates.

  • Schedule emails at optimal times (e.g., late morning or early evening).

  • Include personalized messages and product images to increase engagement.

  • Monitor responses via the Request History tab.


Trustyy Product Reviews – Review Widget Customization

The Review Widget section allows you to fully customize how product ratings and reviews are displayed across your store, including Rating Badges and Review Carousels.

Step 1: Access Review Widget

  1. Open Shopify Admin → Apps → Trustyy Product Reviews.

  2. Click Review Widget in the app navigation menu.

You will see two main sections:

  • Rating Badge – Display average product ratings on product and collection pages.

  • Review Carousels – Showcase selected reviews in a carousel format.

Step 2: Customize Rating Badge

  1. Under Rating Badge, click Customize.

  2. Configure the following options:

Optional Features

  • Add Star Rating Badge on Collection Pages – Toggle this on if you want ratings to appear on collection pages.

Colors

  • Primary Color (#121212) – Used for stars, buttons, links, and link buttons across all widgets and emails.

  • Star Color (#121212) – Used specifically for star ratings in the widget.

Review Form

  • Review Form Button Title – Text displayed on the review submission button (min 1, max 50 characters).

Progress Bar Shape

  • Round or Square – Choose your preferred style.

Rating Display

  • Number – Show numeric rating.

  • Percent – Show rating as a percentage.

Average Rating Style

  • Default – Rating + stars.

  • With Text – Rating + “out of 5 stars”.

  • Compact – Smaller rating + stars.

  • Text Only – Rating/5 without stars.

Click Submit to save changes.

Step 3: Customize Review Carousels

  1. Under Review Carousels, click Customize.

  2. Only reviews with a 5-star rating are displayed by default in carousel sections.

Colors

  • Icon Color (#121212) – Used for star ratings and navigation buttons in the carousel.

Transition Effects

  • Default – Standard animation.

  • Fade In

  • Slide In (Left)

  • Slide Down

  • Slide Up

Testimonial Style

  • Style 1, Style 2, Style 3, Style 4 – Choose the visual style for the carousel.

Choose View

  • View 1 or View 2 – Select how the carousel is displayed on your storefront.

  • Click Submit to save changes.

Tip: Test different styles and colors to ensure the widgets match your store’s theme and provide a consistent user experience.

Step 4: Final Check

  • Visit product and collection pages to verify the Rating Badge appears correctly.

  • Check carousel functionality to ensure 5-star reviews display properly and transitions work smoothly.
